Saffron Foods, a fully owned subsidiary of Expolanka, had humble beginnings. Fifteen years ago, the cuisine company started off as a small central kitchen providing meals for Expolanka employees. The Saffron kitchen is located in a sprawling 5000 sq feet land in Orugodawatta, Avissawella and is equipped with state of the art technology. It has the capacity of producing 5,000 meals per session which are cooked and packed according to internationally accepted hygiene standards.
